• How was this product invented? I was a struggling husband looking for any way to:
  • Be able to leave my wifeÆs plants outside
  • Not injuring my back and going through the BIG hassle of bring them inside.
  • Not having to use up and subsequently wash all the bed sheets and pillow cases in the house.
     
• What is the Protect a Plant made of? A mixed blend of 100% polyester.
   
• Can I wash the Protect a Plant product? Yes, it is but practically unnecessary. The product is machine washable and dries very well in a common household drier or simply can be left outside to dry.
   
• Will my plants be able to breath through the Protect a Plant? Yes, this is one of the beauties of this product; you can leave the Protect a Plant on for extended periods of time.
   
• What happens to Protect a Plant if it rains and then freezes? The Protect a Plant product will take on the ôiglooö effect. What that means is that the precipitation will freeze and create an environment just like an ôiglooö; keeping the inside temperature around 32 degrees.
   
• How low can the temperature go and my plants still be protected? There is no exact answer here due to the fact that every plant reacts differently to cold. Different plants will do better than others in different temperatures. What we can tell you is that we have customers that have protected various types of plants in temperatures below 20 degrees Fahrenheit and have had satisfactory results; all types of plants considered.
   
• How long with the Protect a Plant last? They are totally reusable. Currently, we have customers that have used the product for the last three winters and they are still functioning fine. You could say that if you take care of the covers, they will last you a long time.
   
• Will the product blow off my plants?  No, when you cover the plant, there are two draw strings at the bottom that secure the cover. Think of it like a ôhot airö: balloon; it looks just like that.
   
• Does the product come in any other color? No, only Kelly Green.
   
• Does the product come in any other sizes? Only 48ö and 96ö at this time.
   
• How do you store the product? When you have several of these, you take one of the covers, place all the other ones inside of it, pull the draw strings and store easily as one unit.
