In 1923 a small European watchmaker, in the region of Steinhausen, started manufacturing this rare and beautiful chronograph. It's so rare that only 7 of these timepieces were ever made - all entirely by hand. Antique experts and historians have estimated that an original Steinhausen would have a value of well over $300,000 today.

Every aspect of the original masterpiece has been painstakingly reproduced. A glance as the graceful second hand sweeps past majestic roman numerals reminds you that the Steinhausen is in a class by itself. The masterly ivory enameled dial sets off the various functions with classic precision. The six-hand movement features smaller dials which display the month and day, while sun and stars are set against the 3rd inset dial which displays 24 hour military time. The Steinhausen features an updated kinetic self-winding mechanism, 35 sapphire jewels and tachometer which perfectly capture the look and feel of this truly unique watch.
