German Chestnut

Imported from the still dense forests of Roman Empire Germany. Uniquely carved in writhing spirals, beautifully dark and light as the natural wood surface cells alternate with the inner lighter colored heartwood. A brown and tan chestnut cane of strength and beauty in three handle styles illustrated here. The Romans called them Castania and so do the Germans who crafted them.
